Leyla, meaning “night” in arabic.
She Walks in Beauty
By Lord Byron
A birthday present for a brand-new 5 year old—with some of her favorite things. 🙂 I used a new glue pen to do the glitter on this one, and it makes a huge difference!
For a little girl on her way whose mama likes dahlias and is preparing a pretty pink nursery.
For a tiny girl born in the Canadian winter, destined for a childhood in the warmth of Western Africa. Glittery for fun girlishness and her spicy Latina mama.
These were created for a little-girl-to-be whose mama is an admirer of elephants, and whose daddy loves to read. Designed to match this bedding.
I thought it would be fun to make up a little valentine printable that the kiddos could color and personalize as they wish. These are meant to be used as “fortune cookie” style greetings, with a lovely little compliment tucked into each heart.
There is a coloring page version & a colored watercolor version if you’re short on time. Print the black and white versions on white cardstock to color, or on colored cardstock and add accents with paint/gel pens for something a little more sophisticated.
The “girly” sheet has designs that every little girl would love to color-in, and the geometric sheet is a bit more modern for the boys. Personalize the inserts to be as sentimental or racy as you wish. 🙂

This one is a birthday present for my daughter’s BFF who loves ballet.
